    Scientific Initiation Program - Junior (PIBIC - JUNIOR)

    The Institutional Scholarship Program of Scientific Initiation has a scientific initiation program aimed at high school students enrolled in COLUN - Colégio Universitário.

     

    GOALS

    Strengthen the process of dissemination of basic scientific and technological information and knowledge, and develop the attitudes, skills and values necessary for students' scientific and technological education.

     

    DURATION OF THE BALANCE SHEET

    The scholarship will have a duration of 12 (twelve) months (if implemented from the first month of validity of the institutional process) beginning in August.

    The Scientific Initiation Scholarship for the high school student corresponds to the constant value in the Table of Values of Scholarships in the Country.

     

    INSTITUTIONS

    The PIBIC-JUNIOR will be operationalized by the teaching and research institutions (Universities, Research Institutes and Technological Institutes [CEFETs and IFs]) that have PIBIC (Institutional Scholarship Program of Scientific Initiation) and / or PIBITI (Institutional Scholarship Initiation Program in Technological Development and Innovation) to develop a scientific education program that integrates students from high school, public schools, military schools, technical schools, or private application schools. The teaching and research institutions will be responsible for the quotas of Junior Scientific Initiation Scholarships granted by the CNPq, and it will be up to them to request a quota of scholarships to the CNPq.

     

    RESEARCHER

    Requirements for the supervisor: To be linked to the teaching and / or research institution that participates in PIBIC or PIBITI.

    Conditions of participation: Participate in the selection process carried out at your link institution. Be aware of the deadlines set in your institution.

     

    STUDENTS

    Requirements: To attend high school in institutions that participate in the program, and to participate regularly in the activities of the program.

    Participation conditions: Search in your area of interest for a researcher who is willing to integrate you into your research and guide you.
